Comparisons
Prediko alternatives
The most useful thing to compare here is not features. It is what each tool charges you for, because that is what changes as you grow.
Prediko charges by revenue, so the first thing to check in any alternative is what it charges you for. Their pricing page, read on 30 August 2026, sets tiers on annual GMV starting at $49/month under $100K, with a 14-day free trial and two months free on annual billing. That meter is generous when you are small and climbs with every good year, which is exactly why some stores go looking for something else.
Why the meter matters more than the feature list
A revenue meter and a catalog meter produce opposite bills for the same store. Work out which shape you are before you compare anything else.
- High revenue, few products. Say $3M across 80 SKUs. A revenue meter keeps climbing while your actual workload does not.
- Low revenue, many products. Say $200K across 2,000 SKUs. A revenue meter is kind to you, and a catalog meter is not.
The field, on published facts
Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 30 August 2026. Where a page is silent on something, the cell says so rather than assuming absence.
| Option | Published price | Meter | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stay on Prediko | From $49/mo | Annual GMV | You need unlimited SKUs at entry, bills of materials, an API, or their integration breadth |
| Shopify's built-in tools | Included | None | Purchase orders and transfers are all you were really using |
| Cogsy | $199/mo published | Not stated | You want a marketing calendar, subscriptions or backorders in the same tool |
| Inventory Planner | Not published | Volume of inventory managed | Several warehouses or an ERP |
| Restocio | $149–$299/mo | Catalog size | You import and freight mode is a live decision |
Where Prediko is hard to beat
Their entry tier publishes unlimited SKUs, users and purchase orders, which is unusual at $49. They publish full API access, a raw materials and BOM add-on at $20, and a large list of WMS, ecommerce and 3PL integrations. If you manufacture, or you need programmatic access, that list is the reason to stay and none of it is something we match.
Where we would argue for Restocio
Our meter is catalog size, so a good year does not raise your bill. Past that, we are built for one thing: splitting a single purchase order across sea, rail and air so the premium is paid only on the units that cannot wait, with production time counted inside the lead time. Prediko's pricing page and their purchase order product page, both read on 30 August 2026, do not describe freight modes.
Working out where the meters cross
You can do this on paper in a few minutes, and it beats any feature comparison for deciding whether to move.
Write down two numbers: your trailing twelve-month GMV, and how many products you actually stock. Not variants you have ever created, the ones you reorder. Then find your GMV bracket on Prediko's published tiers and compare it to a catalog-based price for your product count.
The crossover is not fixed, and it moves when your business does. The useful question is not which is cheaper today, it is which is cheaper at the revenue you are planning for. A revenue meter charges you more for succeeding, which is fine if you are comfortable with the bill scaling alongside the money, and irritating if your margin is thin and your catalog is small.
One thing to check before you switch on price alone: their entry tier includes unlimited SKUs. If your product count is what would push you up a tier elsewhere, the revenue meter may still win even at higher revenue.
What we do not do
No API. No bills of materials. One Shopify store, so no multi-location or multi-channel planning. Our entry plan stops at 500 products, and Prediko's does not stop at all. If any of those is load-bearing for you, we are the wrong answer and the honest recommendation is to stay where you are.
Common questions
How much does Prediko cost?
Prediko's pricing page sets tiers on annual GMV, starting at $49 per month for stores under $100K, with a 14-day free trial and two months free on annual billing, as published on 30 August 2026. A raw materials and BOM add-on is listed at $20.
Is revenue-based or catalog-based pricing better?
It depends on your shape. Revenue pricing is cheaper for a big catalog at modest revenue and gets more expensive as you grow. Catalog pricing is cheaper for a high-revenue store with few products and does not move when revenue does.
Does Restocio have an API or bills of materials?
No to both. Prediko publishes full API access on its pricing page and sells a raw materials and BOM add-on at $20. If either matters to you, that is a reason to stay with them.
What is the cheapest alternative to Prediko?
Shopify's built-in inventory tools are included with your Shopify plan and cover purchase orders and transfers, though they leave the ordering quantity to you. Among paid tools, Prediko's own $49 entry tier is lower than ours.

Restocio plans purchasing for Shopify stores that import. It works out what to order, how much, and whether it should travel by sea, rail or air, so you pay air freight only for the units that genuinely cannot wait.
