Roadmap
What works today, what is being built, and what we are still thinking about. Shipped means you can use it now.
Shipped and in use today
- Daily order list with deadlines. Every product, its days of stock, and the last date to order before you need faster freight.
- Sales rate from in-stock days only, so products that keep selling out are not mistaken for slow movers.
- Sea, rail and air split on one order, with a bridge quantity sized to cover the gap until the sea shipment lands.
- Production time included in lead times for made-to-order goods, and ignored when it is not set.
- Purchase orders, with supplier lead times and minimum order quantities.
- Goods in — receiving against a purchase order, including short and damaged lines.
- Claims for what arrived wrong.
- Landed cost per unit, and cost write-back to Shopify.
- Freight and margin settings per mode, including safety days.
- Email alerts for the events that need a human.
- English and Swedish throughout.
Being built now
- Notification centre. One place to choose what you are told about — orders due today, missing product data, a monthly summary — and whether it arrives as it happens or as one daily digest.
- Deeper supplier profiles. Contact details, country of origin, payment terms, incoterms, product-level and supplier-level minimum order quantities, and a freight rate per supplier.
- Bulk fixing of missing product data, by CSV export and import matched on SKU, so costs, weights and suppliers can be filled in for hundreds of products at once instead of one at a time.
- Stock write-back on receipt, closing the last step of the replenishment loop: what you actually received updates Shopify, not just Restocio.
- Shopify App Store listing.
Under consideration
Ideas we like but have not committed to. Listed because being asked about them is useful signal, not because they are promised.
- Talking to suppliers inside the platform, so an order, its confirmation and the chase for a late shipment live in one thread instead of across email.
- Cash-flow view for purchasing — showing what a buying plan does to cash over the coming months, not just what it does to stock.
- Multiple stores and brands under one account.
- More languages.
Why there are no dates
Because we would miss them. We are a small team and the order of this list changes when a customer tells us something we did not know. If a specific item decides whether Restocio is worth it for you, ask us directly and you will get a straight answer about where it actually sits.
Related guides
Restocio plans purchasing for Shopify stores that import. It works out what to order, how much, and whether it should travel by sea, rail or air — so you pay air freight only for the units that genuinely cannot wait.
