Restocio vs Inventory Planner
These are not really the same size of product. Knowing which problem you are actually solving matters more here than any feature row.
What Inventory Planner publishes
From their own pricing page, read on 7 August 2026: no prices are published. The page invites you to “Request pricing now” through a contact form, and states that “Pricing is based on the volume of inventory you manage – with no nasty surprises” and that “you'll always get unlimited users at no extra cost”. A free trial length is not stated.
Features described include multi-location planning, plug and play integrations, inventory-powered marketing, and planning “beyond your next PO”, with a stated time saving of “around 23 hours a week”. Integrations named include Shopify, Shopify Plus, Amazon, WooCommerce, eBay, BigCommerce, Brightpearl, Cin7, QuickBooks, Linnworks, NetSuite, ShipHero, ShipBob and ShipStation.
Quote-based pricing is normal for volume-metered software and is not a criticism — but it does mean you cannot compare cost without a sales conversation, so budget time for one.

Where Inventory Planner is the better choice
- You sell across several channels, or run an ERP. Their published integration list covers NetSuite, Cin7, Brightpearl, QuickBooks, Amazon, eBay, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. We connect to Shopify and nothing else.
- You have multiple warehouses or locations. Multi-location planning is on their page and is not something we do.
- You need a large team in the tool. Unlimited users at no extra cost is explicitly stated.
- You want an established vendor with a long track record. They have been in this market far longer than we have, and for some buyers that is decisive. It is a fair thing to weigh.
Where we would argue for Restocio
- Freight mode is a decision you actually make. If some orders fly and most sail, splitting a single order across modes is the money, and it is what we are built around.
- You want to know the price today. Ours is on the pricing page; theirs needs a conversation.
- You are one Shopify store and want to start this afternoon. A narrower product with published pricing and a self-serve trial is a shorter path than a quote and an onboarding project.
- Production time matters. Made-to-order goods need it inside the lead time or every deadline is weeks late.
A straight answer
If you are a multi-channel operation on an ERP with several warehouses, we are probably not the right tool and you should talk to them. If you are a Shopify store importing containers from Asia, deciding every month what flies and what sails, that is the specific problem we built for.

How much does Inventory Planner cost?
Inventory Planner does not publish prices. Its pricing page states that pricing is based on the volume of inventory you manage and asks you to request a quote, and that unlimited users are included at no extra cost, as published on 7 August 2026.
Does Restocio support multiple warehouses or sales channels?
No. Restocio connects to a single Shopify store and does not do multi-location planning. Inventory Planner publishes both multi-location planning and a broad list of channel and ERP integrations.
Which is better for a Shopify store that imports from Asia?
That is the case Restocio is built for, because of the sea, rail and air split and production time inside lead times. For a multi-channel business running an ERP across several warehouses, a broader tool is likely the better fit.
